Itumeleng George Tladi, better known as the South African rapper Tumi Tladi, passed away on July 10, 2022.
The hip hop artist’s family officially announced their son’s passing in a statement.
The statement read, “Hip-hop artist Itumeleng George Tladi’s family confirmed his untimely passing today with profound sadness and loss.”
“Unfortunately, Tumi Tladi (30), son, brother, and uncle, passed away this morning (10 July 2022) in Johannesburg.”
Social media is flooded with tributes from fans and other musicians to the late rapper, while some Twitter users have been concentrating on the cryptic tweets Tladi shared just before he passed away.
“The small things don’t matter anymore when there’s a countdown, you only truly appreciate your loved ones,” he wrote.
He was reportedly to be stabbed by some guys in the early hour of July 10 and this led to his demise.
